On Saturday March 2, 2017, Beacon Pointe team members gathered at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim for the 2017 Heart and Stroke Walk, put on by the American Heart Association (AHA). The team operated the kid “Fun Zone” area, manning the basketball hoops and football targets while enjoying a day in the sun.

Beacon Pointe Private Client Service Manager, Juna Chiang, is an active Heart Walk Volunteer Chair and we were thrilled to support her nonprofit work and volunteer for a great organization.

The Heart and Stroke Walk brings together walkers from across the community to step out and have fun while getting inspired and supporting a meaningful cause. This past event included a Health and Wellness Expo (including games and activities) and Company Tailgate, which was followed by a 5K run, opening ceremonies, and finally the main walk. The event also brings additional donations and funding for the AHA to continue their lifesaving mission.

If you are interested in learning more about the American Heart Association or would like to donate to support such an important cause, visit their website for more information.
